Blue Latitude was founded by three principals with a deep, proven track record in large-scale, complex development. We spent the bulk of our executive careers at L&L Holding Company, where we spearheaded master-class urban redevelopments and institutional-quality transformations in core markets.
At this stage of our careers, we have created an agile, opportunistic real estate platform that prioritizes trust, mutual respect, and execution excellence. We are completely asset-agnostic and transaction-focused, removing friction to find real joy and extraordinary value in the process.

Robert Lapidus serves as Co-Founder and Chairman of Blue Latitude Group. He has spent the majority of his career at L&L Holding Company, where he co-founded the firm in 2000 and serves as the President and Chief Investment Officer. With more than 35 years of experience in real estate ownership, development, capital raising, finance and asset management, Rob has played a leadership role in over $20B of real estate transactions, including capital formation, financings and restructurings. He also co-founded A10 Capital, a leading nationwide lender specializing in competitive bridge and permanent financing for commercial real estate.
Rob graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 1983 and received a Juris Doctor degree from Cardozo Law School (New York, New York), Cum Laude, in 1986.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Rob is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and a member of the board of directors of the Madison Square Park Conservancy. He is also an officer and a member of the Board of Directors of Spark Youth, a NYC-based non-profit organization that invests in young people from under-resourced communities. In addition, Rob is actively involved in philanthropic endeavors focusing on disadvantaged youth and education.
Jamil Lacourt is a Co-Founder and Principal of Blue Latitude Group, where he leverages nearly three decades of high-stakes operational leadership and strategic vision. Throughout his career, Jamil has directed the execution of high-profile developments valued in excess of $5 billion, specializing in some of the most complex, large-scale projects in the United States and internationally.
Prior to founding BLG, Jamil served as Chief Operating Officer at L&L Holding Company, where he was instrumental in navigating the firm through volatile market cycles and advancing its multi-billion-dollar development pipeline. His leadership was foundational to the completion of 425 Park Avenue - the first full-block office tower in the Plaza District in half a century - and the ongoing $1B+ transformation of the historic Terminal Warehouse in West Chelsea. Jamil was also a key architect of L&L’s expansion into the Sun Belt, spearheading the Wynwood Plaza mixed-use development in Miami.
His career is defined by a deep technical pedigree and executive roles at premier global firms, including serving as Principal at OC Development Management, Vice President at JLL, and Senior Vice President at Citi. His portfolio includes landmark assets such as 150 Fifth Avenue, 368 Ninth Avenue, and BBVA Bancomer’s corporate headquarters in Mexico City.
Recognized as a leading voice in urban development, Jamil was appointed by Mayor Eric Adams to the Advisory Board for the "City of Yes" housing initiative and serves on the REBNY Board of Governors. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from SUNY Farmingdale.

Bryan Lapidus is Co-Founder and Principal of Blue Latitude Group, bringing a decade of experience in real estate development and project management to the execution of complex projects in New York City and Miami.
In addition to his role at Blue Latitude Group, Bryan serves as a Vice President of Development at L&L Holding Company. In his current role, Bryan manages all aspects of Wynwood Plaza, L&L Holding’s one million-square-foot development featuring luxury residences, high-end offices, diverse retail, and sophisticated amenities in the heart of Miami’s famed Arts District.
Bryan has been involved throughout Wynwood Plaza’s lifecycle, from consultant coordination, project analysis and financial management, to leasing and business development. He has also led the evolution of L&L’s innovative technology platform, which is utilized for all development functions and cost control.
After first joining L&L in 2018, Bryan consistently expanded his capabilities and responsibilities. He started as a New York City-based Project Manager, where he was dedicated to L&L's transformation of the iconic Terminal Warehouse into a 1.3 million-square-foot high-performance office and retail destination.
Prior to L&L, Bryan worked on major renovation and redevelopment projects for OC Construction Management. His efforts included overbuild projects in historic districts as well as updates to amenity spaces, lobbies and retail stores.
In addition to his professional achievements, Bryan is a volunteer emergency medical technician and firefighter, whose charitable efforts have included work with St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, University of Michigan Giving and the Greater Miami Jewish Federation. He is also a licensed boat captain and avid boater.
Bryan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Michigan – Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
